Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Inventory or Financial qualification at NQF Level 6.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within an inventory environment.
• Computer literacy, including intermediate to advanced skills in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • SAP
• A valid Code B driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass the Rand Water driving test.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising and monitoring the pulling, packing and binning of stock.
• Ensuring direct purchases are delivered accurately and on time.
• Monitoring and minimising fuel spillages.
• Ensuring legislative and compliance requirements are met.
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices.
• Supervising and monitoring the receipt and issue of stock according to procedures.
• Handling stock and service delivery queries and complaints efficiently.
• Assisting with the safe receipt, issue and storage of fuel.
• Running the material replenishment process weekly or when required.
• Creating and releasing requisitions promptly.
• Monitoring and maintaining the QMS ISO 9001 requirements.
• Managing sectional legal compliance.
• Maintaining and monitoring Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Ensuring the safe and responsible handling and use of Rand Water vehicles, including forklifts.
