About the Wealth Management Learnership
The Wealth Management Learnership leads to a nationally recognised NC: Wealth Management NQF Level 5 qualification.
The programme combines structured learning with practical workplace experience in the financial services industry.
Successful learners will gain exposure to financial planning, wealth management, financial products, market trends, regulatory requirements and the development of training solutions for financial advisers.
Key Responsibilities
Learners may be required to:
- Support financial planning and learning and development specialists in reviewing and developing training materials for financial advisers.
- Conduct research on financial products, market trends and regulatory changes.
- Help ensure training content remains current and accurate.
- Gather and analyse information for training materials, case studies and scenario-planning exercises.
- Assist with preparing reports and summaries used in developing training materials.
- Help organise and maintain databases containing training materials and resources.
- Collect feedback from training participants.
- Identify opportunities to improve training content and delivery methods.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions aimed at improving training solutions.
- Stay informed about developments and trends in financial advising and wealth management.
- Contribute innovative ideas to training solutions.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Engage with experienced Certified Financial Planners (CFPs) and learning and development practitioners for guidance and mentorship.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately, efficiently and according to required standards.

Education Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Mathematics: Minimum Level 4 – 50%

- Second Language: Minimum Level 4 – 50%
An incomplete tertiary qualification in a financial field may be an advantage.
Specific Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Not currently be engaged in post-Matric studies.
- Not currently be formally employed.
- Not have completed a previous learnership.
- Have effective written and verbal English communication skills.
- Have basic computer skills, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Be South African by birth.
