Job Description

The Artisan Fitter will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment at Duvha Power Station and carrying out maintenance activities in accordance with Eskom’s safety requirements and maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance activities in line with plant safety regulations and preventative maintenance plans.
• Carry out corrective maintenance activities on plant and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment within the Boiler Maintenance area.
• Attend to equipment care and personal safety requirements.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Perform duties in accordance with applicable plant safety regulations and maintenance procedures.
