JOB PURPOSE
Capitec Bank is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to provide clerical and administrative support for customer accounts and financial processes. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, perform creditor and general ledger reconciliations, and support the efficient processing of creditor payments.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Grade 12 National Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational) at Grade 12 level.
Experience
- 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting or reconciliation role.
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable or accounts payable.
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation.
Knowledge
- Creditor statement reconciliation.
- General ledger reconciliation.
- Accounting systems and principles.
ADVANTAGEOUS REQUIREMENTS
The following will be advantageous:
- National Diploma in Accounting, specialising in Financial Accounting.
- Experience with purchasing cycles and creditor reconciliations.
- Experience handling telephone queries.
- Knowledge of accounting software, particularly SAP S/4HANA.
