The successful candidate will provide bookkeeping and accounting support to multiple clients within a growing accounting firm. Minimum Requirements

• Work Experience: At least 8 years of proven bookkeeping experience is required.
• Accounting Software: Strong working knowledge of SAGE and PASTEL is essential.
• Financial Knowledge: Ability to manage reconciliations, financial records, payroll and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and financial accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle VAT/GST calculations, submissions and compliance where applicable.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with provisional tax calculations and submissions.
