Job Overview

RCL Foods is looking for a detail-oriented Van Sheet Clerk to support its finance operations. The successful candidate will ensure that driver van sheets and related financial documents are processed accurately and on time.

The role also involves assisting drivers with queries, reconciling transactions, identifying pricing differences and maintaining supporting documents.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Matric certificate (Grade 12).
• At least one year of experience with accounting knowledge.
• Tertiary education will be an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good administrative and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy, particularly in Syspro and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

The Van Sheet Clerk will be responsible for:

• Processing driver van sheets and internal documents, including stock in vans, credit notes, credit returns and manual invoices.
• Completing all previous-day processing within the required deadlines.
• Assisting drivers with van sheet queries and maintaining good working relationships.
• Ensuring driver and IDC reconciliations are completed accurately and signed daily.
• Reporting pricing discrepancies to the relevant personnel and Van Sheet Supervisor.
• Scanning proof of delivery documents and external documentation on Capisol daily.
• Clearing the Capisol queue and ensuring claims are scanned and matched with the relevant credit note numbers.
• Recording credit note numbers on the appropriate claim documents.
• Ensuring that payments are processed and reflected correctly.
