Purpose of the Learnership
The role involves supporting customers and helping ensure an efficient branch experience. Responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming clients and assisting with branch flow and queues.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting clients at ATMs and self-service channels.
- Helping customers complete transactions.
- Guiding clients towards appropriate remote and digital banking channels.
- Developing knowledge and skills required for future client-service opportunities.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational qualification.
- No previous work experience is required.
- Basic calculation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- An interest in learning and developing a career in banking.
- The ability to engage positively with people.
Advantageous Experience
While not required, the following may be beneficial:
- Previous customer-service experience.
- Experience in a retail, financial or banking environment.
- Knowledge of bank branch operations.
- Knowledge of Capitec Bank products and internal business processes.
