Job Overview

AVBOB is recruiting a Client Service Champion for its Polokwane Insurance Office. The successful candidate will oversee customer service standards, support administrative staff and improve client satisfaction and retention.

The position involves supervising administrative activities, resolving escalated client enquiries, monitoring service quality and ensuring that insurance transactions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional with supervisory and client service experience.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• A FAIS-recognised qualification.
• RE5 certificate.
• RE1 certificate will be an advantage.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office, email and internet.
• 2–3 years’ experience in life insurance client services.
• 2–3 years’ relevant supervisory experience.
• Experience dealing with intermediaries.
• Good knowledge of insurance regulations, standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Supervise and support administrative staff.
• Monitor customer service standards across reporting offices.
• Handle escalated client enquiries and complaints.
• Coach employees and identify training needs.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and service performance.
• Ensure insurance transactions are processed correctly and on time.
• Monitor compliance with FAIS, FICA and PoPIA requirements.
• Identify suspicious transactions and report potential fraud.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Monitor quality assurance, policy payments and reconciliation processes.
