About the Sales Representative Position
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing excellent customer service within outlets where dedicated merchandisers or shelf packers are not employed.
These outlets may include service stations, food service institutions (FSI) and smaller trade outlets.
The role involves managing customer relationships, maintaining product availability, implementing agreed pricing, introducing new products and identifying opportunities to increase sales within the assigned territory.
Requirements

- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales Growth and Business Development
The Sales Representative will:
- Increase sales volumes within allocated outlets and territories.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share.
- Expand product distribution.
- Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Promote and sell the full basket of products to customers.
- Introduce new products.
- Secure customer listings.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers at store level.

4. Stock Management and Merchandising
The role includes:
- Ensuring continuous product availability in stores.

- Minimising stock returns, damages and expired products.
- Maintaining product facings.
- Ensuring products are displayed according to company standards.
- Supporting promotional displays and merchandising activities.
5. Pricing and Sales Monitoring
The Sales Representative will:
- Implement negotiated pricing agreements within outlets.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing and promotions.
- Record and report sales volumes by product category and outlet.
- Analyse sales trends.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Promotions and Product Launches
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating product launches within stores.
- Arranging and distributing promotional and point-of-sale material.
- Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.

7. Administration and Reporting
