Role Purpose
The Client Service Administrator will provide administrative and client service support to the team while ensuring that work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
The position requires strong attention to detail, effective organisation and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will also be expected to support the wider team when required.
A key part of the role is to process, monitor and manage specialised retirement product processes.
Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
- 2–5 years’ experience in the employee benefits industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Retirement administration experience will be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong planning and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing administrative duties accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Managing personal workload and priorities effectively.
- Monitoring and managing work queues to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Following established processes and procedures.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Checking completed work carefully and correcting errors before they affect clients or business processes.
- Keeping up to date with Momentum Metropolitan products and relevant legislation.
- Assisting clients with queries and requests accurately and efficiently.
- Seeking clarification where information or instructions are unclear.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Escalating issues, risks and concerns appropriately and timeously.
- Managing competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities and outcomes.
- Maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Supporting different functions within the team when required.
- Contributing towards team goals and objectives.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Providing first-time resolution to client queries via email and telephone.
