Nedbank is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for a Procurement Administrator position in Sandton. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement and Category Management team, with a focus on sourcing processes, supplier management, contracts, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
Job Purpose
The Procurement Administrator will support efficient procurement delivery by managing procurement administration, RFx processes, supplier interactions, contracts and related documentation. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide procurement support to the Sourcing and Category Management team.
- Manage end-to-end RFP and RFQ processes in line with procurement policies and governance requirements.
- Prepare tender documents and coordinate supplier communication.
- Track bid submissions and maintain procurement schedules and evaluation records.
- Support supplier evaluation and due diligence processes.
- Collect, validate and maintain supplier information relating to capability, compliance, risk, B-BBEE and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate tender evaluations and compile evaluation packs.
- Record evaluation outcomes and maintain supporting documentation.
- Maintain supplier contracts and sourcing documentation.
- Ensure procurement agreements are current, accurate, audit-ready and governance compliant.
- Capture and maintain procurement data in relevant systems and databases.
- Support month-end procurement reporting and management information requirements.
- Respond to internal stakeholder and supplier queries within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company and Group Procurement policies.
- Escalate procurement risks, issues and non-compliance where required.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- NQF Level 6 or higher.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience.
- Sound understanding of sourcing and contract administration processes.
- Experience working with procurement systems, preferably SAP.
