About the Job

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including the handling, issuing, receiving, recording and distribution of aircraft spare parts.

The Junior Warehouse Controller will also support stock control, warehouse documentation, deliveries and general warehouse activities while ensuring that warehouse procedures and access controls are followed.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting with weekly cycle counts in the warehouses when required.
• Maintaining accurate records and filing documentation relating to the movement of spare parts.
• Updating the stock ERP (SAM) to reflect stock movements.
• Directing parts to outstations, hangars and airports where required.
• Preparing shipping documentation and packaging parts according to Work Instructions.
• Updating Flow Centric (COMAT) in accordance with SAM when parts are received or dispatched.
• Delivering spares to various hangars.
• Maintaining daily housekeeping standards.
• Drawing and issuing spares from the main warehouse.
• Responding to spare-part requests received via email, telephone or WhatsApp.
• Performing general warehouse duties as instructed by the supervisor.
• Ensuring access to the warehouse is controlled at all times.
• Performing ad-hoc duties as requested by management.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent – Essential.
• C1/B driving licence – Essential.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ warehousing experience – Essential.
• Willingness to work shifts – Essential.
• Willingness to travel – Essential.
• Own transport.
