Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• A valid forklift licence.
• A valid Bendi licence.
• Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques and processes.
• Professional registration, as specified in the vacancy requirements.
• Fluency in Business English.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Operate forklifts and Bendi equipment to move pallets of stock.
• Move stock to and from shelves and vehicles.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Inspect forklift and Bendi equipment when signing in and out.
• Report any equipment or stock damage.
• Move completed pallets to their designated destinations.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Operate a scanner and receive and action tasks using the device.
• Print PCL documents and attach the required unique sticker.
• Assist with stock counts when required.
