Job Overview

Clover is recruiting a Process Operator for its Powder Factory in Queensburgh, KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful candidate will operate and monitor processing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production, maintain product quality and comply with food safety, health and operational standards.

This position is suitable for candidates with Grade 12 and relevant experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or food production.
• Good command of Business English.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in autonomous machine or process operation will be an advantage.
• A tertiary qualification in Operations, Quality Management, Food Technology or Food Science will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring processing equipment and plant operations.
• Ensuring production targets, product quality and operational efficiency are maintained.
• Monitoring production volumes, yields and equipment performance.
• Maintaining accurate production and quality assurance records.
• Conducting product sampling and testing as required.
• Following food safety, hygiene and quality control procedures.
• Identifying equipment problems and reporting them to the maintenance department.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Supporting workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
