Job Overview

Clover is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for an Attendant position at its Powder Tower Factory in Queensburgh, KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful candidate will assist with operating, monitoring and maintaining downstream production and packaging equipment. The role involves ensuring smooth production processes while maintaining product quality, food safety and workplace safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG or food production.
• Experience in a Powder Tower factory will be an advantage.
• Fluent in Business English.
• Must complete a diagnostic competency assessment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain packaging equipment.
• Start up and shut down production equipment.
• Identify operational problems and monitor critical production parameters.
• Record production information on control sheets.
• Conduct packaging quality sampling and testing.
• Prepare work areas for maintenance and restore them afterwards.
• Complete production maintenance schedules and issue job cards when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Follow environmental and energy-saving procedures.
