About the Role
Absa is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Consultant BSSA Service Centre Sales to join its Johannesburg team. This role is responsible for promoting and selling Absa’s banking and financial products while delivering outstanding customer service. Successful candidates will engage with clients, identify their financial needs, recommend suitable solutions, and contribute to the bank’s sales and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Absa’s banking products and financial solutions.
- Proactively contact new and existing customers to identify sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve client queries efficiently.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Ensure all banking activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Accurately capture customer information and maintain records.
- Work closely with colleagues to improve service delivery and share best practices.
- Support business growth by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Minimum Requirements
- Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce and Management Studies.
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and sales abilities.
- Computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Good problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of banking products and financial services will be advantageous.
- Previous banking, call centre, retail sales, or customer service experience is beneficial but may not be essential.
