Job Overview

FlySafair is recruiting two Drivers to join its Operations Support Department at its Head Office in Bonaero Park, Johannesburg.

The successful candidates will report to the Operations Control Centre Manager and be responsible for transporting crew and staff safely between airports, hotels, training centres and other designated locations.

This is a permanent employment opportunity within the aviation industry.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Experience in crew or staff transportation will be an advantage.
• Medically fit.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Transporting airline crew and staff safely and punctually.
• Assisting with collections and deliveries when required.
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects.
• Keeping company vehicles clean and roadworthy.
• Monitoring vehicle servicing schedules and licence renewals.
• Maintaining accurate mileage, fuel and trip records.
• Following road safety, security and company regulations.
• Providing professional and courteous service to staff members.
• Understanding basic vehicle maintenance and road traffic regulations.
