About the Role
AVBOB is recruiting a Senior Clerk to join its Operations Support Insurance team in Centurion. This position is ideal for an experienced administrative professional with knowledge of insurance legislation and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will provide operational support, maintain regulatory records, and ensure compliance with industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the registration and deregistration of representatives and key individuals.
- Maintain the FSCA central and representative register.
- Ensure representatives comply with fit-and-proper regulatory requirements.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between the FSCA register and internal systems.
- Process and maintain records relating to:
- Qualifications
- Regulatory Examinations (RE)
- Class of Business (COB)
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Respond to user enquiries and resolve system-related issues.
- Replicate and troubleshoot system errors before escalating to ICT.
- Assist ICT with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Analyse monthly productivity reports.
- Identify Financial Associates earning minimum wage and highlight non-productive representatives.
- Prepare monthly debit reports and investigate high-risk cases.
- Distribute coaching performance reports and monitor compliance.
- Provide support on Coaching Application enquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties within the department.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- 2–3 years’ experience in financial industry legislation.
- Experience providing administrative support.
- Project coordination experience.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Computer literacy and attention to detail.
