Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Higher Certificate in Administration, Business Management Assistant or a relevant equivalent qualification at NQF Level 5.
- 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative environment.
- Candidates may be required to provide proof of the NQF level applicable to their qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Enterprise Programme Management Office.
Duties will include:
- Executing routine administrative support and clerical duties.
- Assisting and supporting the department with assigned administrative activities.
- Contributing to effective operational processes within the department.
- Completing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Supporting the achievement of performance goals of the division and department.
- Following established administrative procedures and requirements.
- Supporting effective departmental operations.
- Adhering to governance and risk management requirements.
- Contributing towards the promotion of good governance within the EPMO.
- Supporting compliance with applicable legislation, policies and prescripts.
- Contributing towards the effective management of risks associated with departmental activities.
- Supporting effective financial processes within the department.
- Contributing towards prudent financial management.
- Providing customer-focused administrative support.
- Promoting efficient and people-centred service delivery.
- Performing duties in accordance with the Batho Pele principles.
- Carrying out other relevant administrative duties assigned within the scope of the position.
Administrative Support
The Admin Assistant will provide routine administrative and clerical assistance to the department. This may include supporting departmental processes, maintaining administrative records, assisting with documentation and ensuring that assigned administrative tasks are completed effectively.
The role requires employees to contribute to an efficient operational environment and support the department in achieving its performance objectives.
Governance and Risk Management
The position requires adherence to governance and risk management requirements.
The successful candidate will contribute towards the EPMO’s promotion of good governance and compliance with applicable legislative and policy prescripts. The employee will also support effective and efficient management of risks inherent to the department’s work.

Financial Processes
