Job Overview
Fidelity Services Group is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Fleet Administrator to join its team in Midrand, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the effective administration and management of the company’s vehicle fleet.
The role requires an organised individual who can manage multiple responsibilities, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records for all company vehicles, including registration details, insurance information, licensing, and maintenance history.
Key duties include:
- Scheduling and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Monitoring vehicle maintenance records and requirements.
- Tracking fuel usage, mileage, and other fleet performance indicators.
- Preparing and maintaining fleet-related reports.
- Monitoring inventory levels for fleet supplies and equipment.
- Coordinating vehicle replacements and disposals.
- Ensuring fleet operations comply with applicable regulations.
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Providing administrative support to fleet drivers.
- Managing traffic fines and related administrative processes.
- Ensuring all company vehicles are licensed on time.
- Following company fleet policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- At least 2 years’ experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Experience in an administrative environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with fleet management software will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Good understanding of policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and multitasking abilities.

Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should be highly organised, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage several fleet-related administrative duties simultaneously. Strong communication skills are important because the role involves interaction with drivers, suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge of vehicle administration, licensing, maintenance, fuel monitoring, and fleet compliance will be beneficial.
